Do you Travel?
Located in the Lafayette/West Lafayette Region. Travel up to 1 hour. 1-2 hours= $25 travel fee. Beyond 2 hours please reach out for quote.
How long have you been doing this?
I've taken pictures since I was 15 years old. The last 5 years, I have been focused on capturing memories for others. In 2023, I created Melissa J. Conwell Photography.
How many photos do we get?
I have different packages available. The mid range package starts at $175/15 edited photos with printing rights. Additional photos available for purchase.
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be previewed on my Melissa J. Conwell Photography website, you pick your favorites. If you desire to purchase more than the images included in the photo session fee, images beyond that are $10/each. They are uploaded to the website for your digital download. Or, if preferred, a USB can be provided.
Do you retouch photos?
Light retouching to produce softer images.
Whats your turn around time?
Depending on the type of photos taken 1-2 weeks. Weddings are 6-8 weeks.
How do we book you?
Currently, via Facebook Messenger at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550037745917 (Copy and paste) or mjconwellphotography@outlook.com. You can also reach out to me through this website under "Contact" and I will be glad to set up your session.
How far out do you book?
Depending on the day and month it may be within 1-3 weeks of request. However, during the summer and fall, booking may be up to 2 months out.
What should we wear?
Solid colors work best. Wear something that fits well. Coordinate with other members of the party and pick a palette of 3-4 colors. Neutrals, Earthy tones, Pastels, Blues/Greens. Try to avoid clothing with large print or logos.
Payment Types
I accept Zelle, Venmo or cash.
Do you require a contract and photo release?
Yes! A contract helps to spell out what the photographer and client can expect. The photo release allows the photographer & client to post/share the images. Photo sessions will be cancelled if the contract and photo release are not received prior to the day of the scheduled session. No refunds of retainer will be made due to client not signing required documents on time. Your date is saved especially for you.
